Job Description

About the Role

Ohmyhotel is expanding its B2B hotel distribution business in Vietnam and across international markets. This role combines junior-level sales execution with practical sales operations support. The successful candidate will help develop new business, support existing partners, coordinate quotations and bookings, and work across internal teams to turn customer requests into confirmed revenue.

This is not a pure back-office position. We are looking for someone who can communicate with customers, understand operational details, use AI tools effectively, and take ownership until each issue is resolved.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Business Development

·       Identify and approach potential B2B travel agencies, OTAs, corporate accounts, and distribution partners in Vietnam and overseas.

·       Build and maintain prospect lists and conduct outbound outreach through email, phone, online meetings, and partner visits.

·       Introduce Ohmyhotel products, inventory, systems, and commercial value proposition to prospective clients.

·       Support sales proposals, commercial discussions, account onboarding, testing, and go-live preparation.

·       Manage selected existing accounts, monitor booking activity, and identify opportunities to increase production.

·       Prepare sales meeting materials, rate comparisons, partner updates, and basic performance reports.

·       Support trade fairs, partner meetings, market visits, and follow-up activities.

·       Maintain accurate records of opportunities, meetings, decisions, and next actions in the company CRM or internal tracking system.

B. Sales Operations & Booking Support

·       Review partner requests for hotel quotations, availability, room types, rate plans, cancellation policies, and booking conditions.

·       Monitor booking progress and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain Management, Content, Finance, and IT teams.

·       Provide first-level review of booking errors, mapping issues, rate discrepancies, and partner inquiries before escalation.

·       Escalate urgent booking or customer issues to the correct internal owner and follow through until closure.

·       Maintain clear histories of partner requests, booking issues, solutions, and pending actions.

·       Support partner system tests, extranet setup, API testing, and initial booking monitoring after launch.

·       Organize basic booking, sales, and customer service data for internal review.

·       Help improve recurring workflows by identifying tasks that can be standardized or automated.

Qualifications

·       Entry-level candidate or 1-3 years of experience in sales, travel, hospitality, hotel reservations, OTA operations, customer service, or a related field.

·       Professional working proficiency in Vietnamese and the ability to communicate in business English by email and in meetings.

·       Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to draft emails, summarize information, prepare reports, research accounts, and improve repetitive workflows.

·       Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing ownership of follow-up actions.

·       Comfortable learning new reservation systems, extranets, CRM tools, and internal platforms.

·       Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively between customers and internal teams.

·       Commercial mindset with an interest in both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

·       Proactive, responsible, and willing to work across functional boundaries when required.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with a travel agency, hotel, OTA, bed bank, B2B booking platform, or hotel wholesaler.

·       Understanding of hotel reservations, room types, rate plans, cancellation policies, and distribution processes.

·       Experience using CRM, reservation systems, extranets, back-office tools, or API testing environments.

·       Korean or Chinese language ability.

·       Experience with outbound sales, cold email, account research, or lead generation.

·       Ability to organize data and perform basic sales or booking analysis.

·       Experience using AI or no-code tools to automate repetitive administrative work.

·       Availability for occasional domestic or international business travel and trade fairs.

Core Competencies

Ownership: Takes responsibility from the first customer request through final resolution, rather than only passing tasks to another team.

Multitasking: Balances prospecting, partner communication, booking support, and internal coordination according to business priority.

Communication: Explains issues clearly and accurately to customers and internal stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Identifies the likely cause of booking or system issues and coordinates the right next action.

Commercial Awareness: Connects daily operational work to account growth, partner satisfaction, and revenue.

Learning Agility: Quickly learns new markets, hotel distribution concepts, systems, and AI-enabled workflows.

Key Performance Indicators

·       Qualified prospects added and contacted.

·       Sales meetings, proposals, and partner follow-ups completed.

·       New accounts onboarded and activated.

·       Booking production and revenue growth from assigned accounts.

·       Response speed and closure rate for partner requests.

·       Accuracy and completeness of CRM and issue-tracking records.
