Role Summary
A hands‑on hunter who owns daily buyer comms and sample development while pushing conversion and speed. You collaborate closely with sample room and QA to de‑risk builds and win approvals fast.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect & Qualify leads; prepare quotes with accurate costing & timelines; push RFQ (Request for Quantity) →PO (Purchase Order).
- Sample to Bulk: Prepare SJO/MI; coordinate materials & VAP trials; manage sample T&A.
- Technical Control: Do 1st‑round BF (bulk feasibility) & risk screen; basic pattern review; organize fit checks and support on‑site approvals.
- Stakeholder Sync: Daily follow‑ups with mills/factories (cut/sew/wash/print) and QA; keep buyers updated.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain CRM/PLM (Product Life Management); weekly pipeline and KPI updates.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years in merchandising (factory, vendor, or buying office), with buyer‑facing experience.
- Working knowledge: garment construction; trims/emb/print/wash; VAP; workmanship/quality risk.
- Able to prepare SJO/MI, check patterns at a basic level, support fittings & sample approvals.
- English communication for buyer calls/emails; strong Excel/PLM basics.
