Job Description

Our client is a leading distributor of ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, consumables, and medical equipment, serving over 150 hospitals across Yunnan Province, China. With continued expansion in the ophthalmology sector, the company is committed to driving innovation and improving eye care solutions across the region.

We are looking for a Sales / Market Development Manager to support business growth and market expansion in Vietnam. This role will work closely with hospitals, ophthalmologists, surgeons, distributors, and key stakeholders to drive product evaluations, gather market insights, support product launches, and develop strategic partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support product trials and follow up with hospitals, doctors, and distributors
  • Collaborate with KOLs, surgeons, and hospital stakeholders to collect product feedback and market insights
  • Conduct market mapping and assess opportunities across hospitals and ophthalmology centers
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, surgeons, distributors, and channel partners
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, tenders, and market trends
  • Support product launch planning and go-to-market activities in Vietnam
  • Participate in conferences, workshops, and hospital meetings as needed
  • Provide regular market updates and customer feedback to management
  • Identify and evaluate distributor and channel development opportunities
  • Support future commercialization activities following product launch

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, consumables, or medical equipment sales
  • Experience working with hospitals, ophthalmologists, surgeons, KOLs, or distributors
  • Good understanding of the ophthalmology market and hospital channel in Vietnam
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience in product launches, hospital tenders, or market development is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within Vietnam
  • Ability to communicate in English/Mandarin is a Plus.
