Job Description

Position Overview

The Sales Manager – Home Loan is responsible for driving mortgage sales performance as an individual contributor, focusing on high-quality customer acquisition, strong pipeline management, and effective conversion across the sales funnel.

This role requires a balance of direct selling, relationship development, and lead generation, particularly through strategic partnerships with external stakeholders such as property brokers and project-based bankers.

Key Responsibilities

A. Individual Sales Performance

  • Own and deliver personal home loan sales targets
  • Manage end-to-end sales funnel:
  • Lead generation → App-in → Approval → Disbursement
  • Ensure strong conversion rates through effective customer engagement and follow-up
  • Maintain consistent sales activity and pipeline discipline

B. Lead Generation & Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  • Property agents / home sales brokers
  • Bankers and sales teams in targeted housing projects
  • Actively develop external lead generation channels to ensure sustainable pipeline inflow
  • Position KBank as a preferred lending partner within key projects and broker networks

C. Lead Qualification & Pre-Screening

  • Perform strict pre-screening of customers before application submission
  • Ensure leads meet defined credit and product criteria
  • Prioritize high-quality leads to optimize approval rate and reduce rework
  • Provide clear advisory to customers on eligibility and documentation

D. Pipeline & SLA Management

  • Maintain a healthy and well-balanced pipeline
  • Closely track case progress and follow up with stakeholders
  • Ensure timely submission and processing in line with SLA requirements
  • Minimize aged or stalled cases in the pipeline

E. Sales Execution & Campaign Alignment

  • Execute sales strategies and campaigns (pricing, promotions, refinancing offers)
  • Clearly communicate product positioning and competitive advantages to customers
  • Adapt sales approach based on campaign focus and market dynamics

F. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams:
  • Credit / Risk (approval criteria)
  • Operations (processing timelines)
  • Product (pricing and campaigns)
  • Escalate issues impacting customer experience, approval, or disbursement

G. Customer & Market Insight

  • Monitor competitor offerings (interest rates, packages, promotions)
  • Identify opportunities in targeted segments:
  • Refinance customers
  • Existing customer base (e.g., credit cards)
  • Continuously refine sales approach using feedback and conversion insights

H. Risk & Quality Control

  • Ensure high-quality applications through disciplined screening
  • Reduce rejection rate and incomplete submissions
  • Adhere strictly to bank policies and compliance requirements
  • Flag potential risk or fraud concerns when identified

What We Need in a Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field

  • Experience 3-5+ years in retail banking, mortgage sales, or property-related industries
  • Proven track record in direct sales and client acquisition
  • Experience working with: Property agents / brokers/ Real estate developers or project sales teams
  • Sales & Business Skills, Strong understanding of home loan products and basic credit assessment, Ability to manage full sales cycle independently, Strong negotiation and closing capability
  • Strong networking and partnership-building skills, ability to influence external partners and generate consistent leads, analytical & execution skills, good understanding of sales funnel metrics and conversion drivers, strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail, ability to prioritize high-quality opportunities
  • Clear, structured communication with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to explain product features, pricing, and approval conditions effectively
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both written and spoken
