Job Description
1. Key Accountabilities
- Lead the development of business projects in the liquid milk, yogurt, and milk powder segments for assigned customers.
- Drive the development and commercialization of new products from strategic suppliers in line with the company's business strategy.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Stay up to date with market information, industry trends, and competitive developments.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual business development plans for assigned customers, including:
- Sales planning and revenue/profit forecasting for each customer.
- Customer relationship management and account development plans.
- Product portfolio expansion and solution development plans.
- Providing required documentation and following up on product testing/evaluation results requested by customers.
- Coordinating with customers and internal departments to ensure timely communication and responses regarding product specifications, quality standards, technical requirements, regulatory updates, delivery schedules, and other related matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and recommend product solutions based on customers business strategies and competitive market intelligence.
- Regularly communicate with customers regarding industry trends, innovation opportunities, and new product development plans.
- Execute daily sales activities, including organizing workshops, strengthening customer relationships, expanding product portfolios, and monitoring competitor activities.
- Attend supplier seminars and technical workshops to stay updated on product technologies, market trends, and industry developments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual business reports, including new customer development activities and customer care plans for the next period.
- Prepare market intelligence reports as requested by the Sales Manager, Commercial Director, Management Board, or other internal departments.
- Update CRM/internal systems with project progress, sales performance, and inventory status of assigned product categories.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields; or
- Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related disciplines.
- 5–8 years of experience in a Sales Manager (or equivalent) role within the B2B food ingredients industry, preferably in a multinational company.
- Proven experience working directly with customers in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong experience in project development, solution selling, and managing new product development projects.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work closely with R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams.
- Previous experience in multi-industry chemical or specialty ingredients trading companies is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food ingredients and food additives.
- Good English communication skills.
