Main Responsibilities
1. Sales Forecasting & Planning
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for assigned accounts, including sales targets, revenue/profit trends, and customer retention plans.
- Formulate strategic plans to introduce and expand new products and solutions.
2. Key Account Development: Analyze and evaluate the potential of small-scale clients to nurture and upgrade them into the company's Key Accounts.
3. Strategic Consulting: Provide product solution consultancy based on the client's development strategy and competitive market intelligence.
4. Market Insights & Updates: Regularly engage with clients to provide updates on industry trends and product development roadmaps.
5. Daily Sales Operations
- Prospect for new clients, conduct credit risk assessments, and process sales orders in accordance with company authorization levels.
- Establish and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments (Accounting, Logistics, Application & Innovation, R&D, Import-Export, etc.) to ensure timely information flow and grievance handling regarding: quality standards, technical specifications, regulatory compliance, and delivery schedules.
6. Technical & Market Intelligence: Attend supplier seminars and workshops to stay updated on technical product innovations and market trends.
7. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive sales reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually) covering business performance, new client acquisition, and upcoming customer engagement plans.
8. Market Analysis: Conduct market update reports as requested by the Sales Manager, Commercial Director, Board of Directors, or other relevant departments.
9. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Biochemistry, or related scientific fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales within the Pharmaceutical and Dietary Supplement (Nutraceuticals) industries.
- Proven track record of working with large-scale manufacturers in the Food, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Hands-on experience in R&D within Food, Dietary Supplement, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
