Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Sales Manager in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and secure new customers across FCL, LCL, air freight, and
  • integrated logistics services.
  • Drive rapid volume ramp-up through consistent daily prospecting, including
  • outbound calls, strategic customer visits, and targeted follow-up on qualified leads.
  • Win market share from competitors by leveraging value-based selling, strong
  • solution positioning, and effective rate negotiation.
  • Maintain a robust and well-qualified sales pipeline to ensure consistent business
  • growth.
  • Expand share of wallet within newly onboarded accounts by aligning solutions with
  • customer needs and growth opportunities.
  • Cross-sell deugro's full suite of services, including customs brokerage, warehousing,
  • transportation, and value-added logistics offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on acquiring new logos and
  • converting competitor-controlled accounts.
  • Strengthen key trade lanes (Intra-Asia, US, EU, Australia, etc.) through targeted
  • commercial actions and customer development initiatives.
  • Foster strong collaboration with Pricing, Operations, and Customer Service to
  • deliver competitive, customer-centric solutions.
  • Monitor competitor pricing trends, market fluctuations, carrier capacity constraints,
  • and buying behavior to anticipate customer needs.
  • Share timely market intelligence and customer insights with the Business
  • Development Manager and Pricing teams to enable more informed commercial
  • decisions.
  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with high-value customers and
  • senior stakeholders.
  • Serve as the escalation point for the service issues, ensuring swift resolution and
  • safeguarding customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report weekly sales performance, forecast accuracy, and pipeline
  • progress to ensure transparency and alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure full CRM compliance through accurate and timely daily updates across all
  • active opportunities and customer interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly business review presentations, highlighting key
  • achievements, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Adhere to all company policies in areas of Compliance, QHSES, Code of Business Conduct, Employee Handbook
  • Travel within Vietnam and overseas
  • Responsibility over personal sales budget and performance
  • Signing Authority as per limits put in place by deugro

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • 57 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding Industry and good knowledge
  • of Incoterms and Operations, demonstrating strong commercial acumen
  • In-depth knowledge of Shipping Line, Freight Forwarding products such as Sea/Air
  • Import & Exports, Project Cargo, Ro-Ro, Break Bulk/Commodities.
  • Consistent achievement of monthly TEU and revenue targets including a track record of driving high-volume growth in competitive markets.
  • Well-established network of logistics customer in Vietnam, with strong relationship-building and account development skills
  • Exceptional negotiation capabilities, with demonstrated success in securing and
  • expanding mid-to-large customer accounts.
  • Excellent client / management presentation skills, both in Vietnamese and English
  • Good English command in word and writing
  • Self-motivated and confident individuals with an eye for details as well as team player
  • with proactive work attitude
