Job Description

KLN Freight are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development activities for Air Freight and Ocean Freight services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers, expanding key accounts, and promoting freight solutions across strategic trade lanes including Transpacific, Europe, Oceania, and North Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within freight forwarding, supply chain, and logistics services.

• Generate and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market intelligence.

• Expand market share in Air, Ocean, Lane Freight across key trade lanes.

Customer Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

• Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.

• Understand customers logistics requirements and propose tailored transportation solutions.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Develop strategic sales plans to penetrate target industries.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

• Work closely with Operations, Pricing, Customer Service, and Overseas. Offices to deliver competitive solutions.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, RFQs, and contract negotiations.

• Ensure smooth implementation and onboarding of new customers.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.

·      Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries.

·      Proven track record in Air Freight and/or Ocean Freight business development.

·      Strong understanding of international transportation, Incoterms, and global trade practices.

·      Existing customer network is highly preferred.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·      Good at English.

Preferred Experience

·      Experience handling Transpacific, Europe, Oceania, and North Asia trade lanes.

·      Experience working with multinational freight forwarders, NVOCCs, or logistics providers.

·     Knowledge of contract logistics and integrated supply chain solutions is an advantage.
