Role Objective

Develop new customers, maintain and expand existing accounts, and provide end-to-end logistics solutions (international transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, trucking, project cargo, etc.) to achieve assigned revenue and profit targets.

I, Key Responsibilities

1, Business Development & Client Management

  • Identify, approach, and develop new customers (FDI companies, factories, trading companies, import-export firms).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Cross-sell logistics services: Sea Freight, Air Freight, Trucking, Warehousing, Customs Clearance, Project Cargo.

2, Consulting & Quotation

  • Receive and analyze customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Pricing and Operations teams to build competitive quotations.
  • Propose optimal solutions in terms of cost, transit time, and compliance.
  • Negotiate service contracts and commercial terms.

3, Service Follow-up & Customer Care

  • Monitor service implementation after contract signing.
  • Coordinate to handle issues such as delays, claims, documentation errors, and additional costs.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term cooperation.

4, Reporting & Planning

  • Build personal monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans.
  • Report sales performance, customer pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
  • Update market information, freight rates, and competitor activities.

II, Requirements

1, Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics sales / forwarding.
  • Existing import-export customer network is a strong advantage.

2, Knowledge

  • Good understanding of international transportation, Incoterms, customs procedures, and import-export documentation.
  • Knowledge of Sea Freight, Air Freight, Trucking, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing services.
  • Basic knowledge of HS code, import-export taxes, C/O, and transport documents.
  • Familiar with freight rate market and main trade lanes.
