Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and promoting the company's full suite of freight forwarding services (air, sea, and land).

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding (import/export – air, sea, and land transport).

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and grow accounts.

• Prepare and deliver customized proposals and quotations based on customer needs and current freight market trends.

• Negotiate rates, terms, and service level agreements with clients to maximize profitability.

• Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and documentation teams to ensure service excellence.

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools; report regularly on performance and forecast.

• Stay informed on global trade trends, freight rate fluctuations, and competitor activities.

• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Job requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics/forwarding

• Strong understanding of transportation, freight forwarding, and carrier operations (air/sea)

• Experience working with airlines, carriers, shipping lines, or NVOCCs is highly preferred

• Good communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-oriented mindset

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken)

• Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments/accounts simultaneously
