Position:

We are looking to hire a Sales Executive to support our grains business in Vietnam.

The candidate will be responsible analysis of the grains markets in relation to Vietnam and SE Asia, position management, internal process on contracts, credit and compliance, linking through with our finance and operations team to support smooth execution of our business.

Over time, the candidate will build knowledge and contacts in our business areas and once capable will be able to move into a more commercial role within the business area.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for selling activities, marketing, regional supply, and demand (S&D) in Vietnam for feed ingredients including: SBM, corn, wheat, etc.,
  • Assisting the company to build connections with new Clients by maintaining and enhancing marketing activities. Managing and developing the customer relationships.
  • Analysis of grains markets and domestic movements in Vietnam to assist with business development areas
  • Shipment plan and delivery plan sheet management
  • Internal credit and compliance procedure
  • Obtaining quotes from various key contacts internally on FOB premiums and freight costs
  • Supporting commercial team in maintaining client relationships with analysis support
  • Working as part of a team to help deliver strategy and ideas to help with the growth of the business and trading decisions
  • To be part of the global trading team, to provide input to our group trading and business strategies
  • Linking in with the global analysis team, to contribute to our sugar market view and if required, contribute or aid analysts with Vietnam focused content for our analysis portal, Czapp
  • Helping to support the growth of our sustainability program, VIVE with relevant industry members
  • Changes in the business may occasionally require alterations in this job description and these will be agreed with the post holder as appropriate.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:

  • Work location: North of Vietnam
  • Ideally minimum 3-year experience working for a grains trader or grains importer/processor
  • Bachelor's degree in business or agriculture or logistics
  • Fluent in both written and spoken in English and Vietnamese
  • Fast learner and be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent personality and can-do attitude
  • Ability to act with integrity when dealing with confidential matters
  • High communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
