The Role: Beyond Sales, Into User Success
We are seeking an empathetic and analytical B2C Sales Executive who is passionate about the intersection of music and technology. This role is pivotal to our growth and focuses heavily on Customer Understanding.
You will be the bridge between our users and the full potential of Simpia. Your primary mission is to deeply understand the diverse needs of music learners, guide them through their initial journey, motivate their progress, and consultatively convert them into long-term, successful subscribers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deep Customer Segmentation & Analysis: Analyze user behavior, onboarding data, and feedback to identify the unique motivations, pain points, and needs of different learner segments (e.g., parent-to-child, adult beginners, returning or casual learners).
- Strategic Onboarding Support: Proactively engage with new and trial users to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Help users quickly discover the value of Simpia and achieve their initial learning milestones.
- User Motivation & Engagement: Develop and execute communication strategies (via chat, email, or scheduled calls) to motivate users, address their challenges, and keep them engaged with their practice routines.
- Consultative Subscription Sales: Understand where users are in their journey and effectively communicate the value proposition of Simpia's premium subscription tiers. Guide users to the right plan for their goals and drive subscription conversions.
- Voice of the Customer: Synthesize insights from user interactions and provide actionable feedback to the Product and Marketing teams to enhance the Simpia application and refine our messaging.
What We Are Looking For:
- Exceptional Customer Understanding: This is paramount. You must have a proven ability to empathize with customers, actively listen, decode underlying needs, and translate those insights into effective engagement and sales strategies.
- B2C Sales/Customer Success Experience: 1+ years of experience in B2C sales, customer success, or consultative support, preferably for a mobile application, SaaS, or subscription-based product.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfort with analyzing user data and behavior patterns to inform sales tactics and personalization efforts.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to articulate complex value propositions simply and persuasively.
- Proactive and Empathetic: A self-starter with high emotional intelligence, capable of building rapport and trust with a diverse user base.
- Passion for Music EdTech: A genuine interest in music, education, and technology is a significant advantage.
