Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of distributors, dealers, retailers, and key agricultural customers.
  • Promote and sell the company's range of agrochemicals, fertilizers, and crop nutrition products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage within assigned territories.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to provide product recommendations, technical support, and after-sales service.
  • Organize and participate in product demonstrations, field trials, farmer meetings, and promotional events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing regular market intelligence to management.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and territory development plans.
  • Coordinate with the technical and marketing teams to implement sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure timely collection of customer payments and maintain healthy account receivables.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while continuously acquiring new accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Protection, Agricultural Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of sales experience in agrochemicals, fertilizers, crop protection, seeds, or agricultural inputs.
  • Good understanding of crop production practices and the agricultural market.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid motorcycle riding licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network with agricultural distributors, dealers, or commercial farms.
  • Experience conducting field demonstrations and technical product presentations.
  • English communication skills are an advantage.
