The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic Sales Excellence Lead to bridge the gap between complex data and actionable sales strategy. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will lead a high-performing team of analysts to drive commercial performance across regional markets. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into the source of truth for executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Performance Management: Design and implement comprehensive scorecards and KPIs across diverse sales teams and sourcing regions to track organizational health.
- Data Ecosystem Leadership: Oversee the integrity of sales data systems. You will collaborate with IT and Finance to streamline reporting tools (CRM/BI) and drive continuous improvement in data accuracy.
- Commercial Insights & ROI: Act as a strategic partner to Business Operations. Lead the analysis for customer rebates, new program ROI, and complex sales forecasting.
- Sales Incentive Management: Lead the formulation of sales targets and the measurement of achievement levels (SIP), ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
- Change Management: Drive ad-hoc projects aimed at system optimization, enabling more granular analysis of sales programs and market trends.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 810+ years of solid experience in Business Analysis or Sales Operations, with a proven track record of managing professional teams.
- Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates from FMCG or B2B environments.
- Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in data visualization and spreadsheet modeling (BI tools, CRM systems, and Advanced Excel/Google Suite).
- Communication: Ability to distill complex data into concise, logical narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Leadership Style: A player-coach who thrives in a highly matrixed, multicultural environment and can manage aggressive timelines without compromising quality.
