Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Sales Engineer for the Construction sector will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, understanding their needs, and suggesting suitable solutions. The role involves identifying opportunities, promoting products, presenting technical solutions, and closing deals. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and preparation of technical proposals are also key responsibilities.
- Knowledge of the process inside the concrete batching plants.
- Achieve personal annual sales tasks assigned by the company. - Develop the existing and potential customer base of the construction sector to maximize order intakes and increase sales.
- Visit regularly and frequently potential and existing customers receiving information regarding market trends and new sales opportunities.
- Report information about competitors, their selling price, their selling strategy and their advantages and weaknesses to manager.
- Report new market needs, new product requirements, and specific customer needs to develop new sales strategies.
- Report new and existing customers situation, their sales trend, their possible new investments and their financial situation.
- Organize technical trainings and seminars for customers to improve their knowledge of our products and be more familiar with our company.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry trends, technical development, market activities and industry intelligence to help define the marketability of products and report to manager identified trends that could affect targets.
- Collect customer data/ information/ feedback/ expectations for presentation/ seminars/exhibitions to promote the products and services.
- Assisting with regular business forecasting and annual budgeting.
- Coordinate the customer to deal with the pre-sales and after sales issues.
- Proficient in QMATE and able to handle daily orders independently, follow up technical communication and delivery progress of important orders. Other tasks assigned by General Manager.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Technical Support to recommend appropriate solutions and address client needs.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to establish relationships and provide exceptional client support.
- Experience in Sales with a proven ability to identify opportunities and close deals effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the construction sector and related technologies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese languages is preferred.
