Job Overview:
The Sales Director (Go-to-Market – Cloud & AI) owns TechX product's (Xora) commercial growth strategy and turns platform capabilities into sustainable, repeatable revenue.
You will be the commercial leader for the Xora business — accountable for pipeline generation, new-logo acquisition, AWS Marketplace growth, partner-led demand generation, and managed-services attachment. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Delivery, Finance, AWS stakeholders, and partner teams to build a scalable and repeatable go-to-market engine.
This is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role suited to someone who has successfully built a new cloud, SaaS, MSP, AI, or AWS-related business from the ground up and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
This role will suit a Commercial Director, Business Development Director, or Senior Sales Manager ready to own go-to-market for an AI-native platform business.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy & Business Growth
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Xora's platform, AWS Marketplace offerings, AI solutions, and managed services.
- Build and own a healthy sales funnel with sufficient pipeline coverage to achieve revenue and new-logo targets.
- Drive new-logo acquisition through direct sales, partner-led motions, AWS co-sell, and marketplace channels.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and strategic growth initiatives across APAC.
AWS Marketplace & Co-Sell Leadership
- Lead AWS Marketplace commercialization and customer-acquisition strategy.
- Develop strong relationships with AWS Partner Account Managers (PAMs), Partner Sales Managers (PSMs), Solution Architects, and field sales teams.
- Drive AWS co-sell motions, joint account planning, and opportunity development.
- Leverage AWS programs, incentives, marketplace mechanisms, and funding opportunities to accelerate pipeline and revenue.
- Act as a key representative of Xora within the AWS partner ecosystem.
Partner Ecosystem Development
- Work closely with Partner Sales and Partner Management teams to generate partner-sourced pipeline and expand market reach.
- Build scalable partner-led GTM programs that contribute to pipeline creation and customer acquisition.
Solution Commercialization
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Product, Delivery, Managed Services, AWS, and Finance teams to ensure offerings are market-ready.
- Shape solution packaging, value propositions, and sales-enablement materials, and align on pricing with Finance and Commercial Ops.
- Translate market feedback into product and service improvements.
Executive Reporting & Business Operations
- Own executive-level reporting on pipeline health, conversion performance, managed-services attachment, and revenue growth.
- Develop dashboards and business-performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on growth opportunities, risks, and required investments.
Key Requirements:
Experience
- 8- 10+ years in enterprise technology, cloud, SaaS, AI, consulting, managed services, or related commercial-leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building a business line, market presence, or sales funnel from near-zero to repeatable revenue.
- Demonstrated ownership of revenue targets, pipeline growth, and commercial performance.
- Experience driving enterprise sales, business development, GTM strategy, or regional growth initiatives.
- Strong experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders and enterprise decision-makers.
- Comfortable operating in high-growth, ambiguous, or startup-like environments with limited resources.
Domain Expertise
- Understanding of AWS, cloud modernization, managed services, SaaS, and platform business models.
- Experience working with AWS partner programs, AWS Marketplace, co-sell motions, or cloud ecosystem partnerships.
- Knowledge of partner-led sales motions and ecosystem-driven revenue generation.
Leadership & Commercial Skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing forecasts, pipeline metrics, and business-performance indicators.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience launching or scaling an AWS Marketplace business.
- Experience with AWS co-sell programs, Marketplace Private Offers, CPPO, or partner funding mechanisms.
- Exposure to AI, Generative AI, data platforms, cloud-native applications, or modernization programs.
- Existing relationships within the AWS partner ecosystem across Southeast Asia or APAC.
- Experience managing regional GTM initiatives across multiple markets.
- AWS certifications or relevant cloud certifications.
