We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant - Japanese speaking to support client communication and sales coordination, particularly for Japanese documents related. This role will be responsible for preparing and supporting meetings, providing translation assistance, following up on action items, and ensuring a positive client experience during office visits.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Japanese (minimum JLPT N2) and English, with strong communication, coordination, and client communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients professionally in Japanese and English
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including scheduling, materials, and logistics
- Provide translation and interpretation support during meetings
- Take meeting notes and follow up on post-meeting action items
- Welcome and support clients when they visit the MTI office
- Respond to client emails and follow up on their questions and requests
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely support for client needs
- Maintain accurate records of client communications, meeting outcomes, and follow-up actions
Requirements
- Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English, both spoken and written
- At least 3 years of experience in translation, client servicing, administration, sales support or a related role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate and interpret in a professional business environment
