Job Overview
At Faraday Technology Vietnam, we are building advanced ASIC and SoC solutions powering next-generation AI, HPC, networking, automotive, and edge computing applications.
We are looking for passionate and experienced RTL System Integration Engineers to join our growing engineering team and work on complex subsystem and SoC integration projects across global collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Integrate IP RTL blocks into the SoC subsystem from spec review through integration signoff.
- Define subsystem-level architecture: bus topology, clock and reset distribution.
- Identify and resolve Lint/CDC/RDC violations, protocol mismatches, and reset sequencing issues.
- Review and execute IP vendor integration checklists.
- Define spec and implement IP test mode circuits; support ATE correlation and silicon debug.
- Create subsystem SDC, integrate block SDC to TOP SDC and Top flatten SDC.
- Define synthesis strategy (top-down/bottom-up, select synthesis tool) for best result.
- Ensure netlist quality (RTL vs Netlist equivalent, checkers).
- Support with verification engineer and coordinate IP vendor to confirm subsystem functionality.
- Collaborate with physical design team to clean timing closure for tape-out.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3+ years in RTL design or SoC subsystem integration.
- Proficient in SystemVerilog/Verilog - wrappers, glue logic, and interface integration.
- Hands-on experience with Lint, CDC, and RDC analysis and sign-off flows.
- Familiarity with on-chip interconnect protocols: AXI, AHB, APB.
- Experience with RTL synthesis and netlist delivery using industry-standard EDA tools (DC, Genus, Primetime).
- Working knowledge of LEC and equivalence checking methodologies.
- Strong SDC authoring skills - clocks, I/O delays, multicycle and false paths.
- Scripting proficiency in Python or Tcl for integration and flow automation.
- Good English communication skills - able to collaborate across IP, verification, and physical design teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-speed IP: PCIe, USB, DDR/LPDDR, SerDes, or MIPI.
- Exposure to IP test modes, ATE test and silicon debug.
