About The Role
As Rooms Division Manager for Four Seasons Hotel Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An, you will be a key member of Rooms, reporting directly to the Resort Manager. You will oversee the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Services. With responsibility for both strategic leadership and day-to-day operations, you will ensure that every guest enjoys a personalised, seamless, and memorable stay while fostering a positive and high-performing culture for employees.
This role requires a seasoned operator with exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of luxury service, and proven experience managing high-profile guests and VIPs. You will also contribute to the broader hotel strategy, ensuring that the Rooms Division supports commercial success and the positioning of Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An as one of the most prestigious destinations.
What You Will Do
- Lead Rooms Division Operations: Oversee daily performance of Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Guest Services ensuring Four Seasons service standards are consistently achieved.
- Deliver Personalised Guest Experiences: Act as a visible presence in the hotel, handling VIP arrivals, repeat guests, and special requests with discretion, professionalism, and care.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Conduct daily inspections of Rooms Division areas, address guest feedback promptly, and lead the team in problem-solving to exceed expectations.
- Drive Financial Performance: Manage departmental budgets, labour costs, and expenses, while maximising occupancy, rate, and revenue in collaboration with Reservations and Sales.
- Support Talent Development: Recruit, coach, and mentor leaders and colleagues, fostering career growth and succession planning within the Rooms Division.
- Uphold Service Standards: Ensure training programmes are in place so that teams consistently deliver the Four Seasons culture of care, attention to detail, and personalised service.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning: Play an active role in business forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning as a member of Assistant Division Head.
- Promote Safety and Wellbeing: Respond promptly to emergencies, safeguarding guests and employees at all times.
- Strengthen Internal Collaboration: Partner with other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional operations, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel performance.
What You Bring
- Minimum of three to five years leadership experience, in a similar capacity, in Rooms Division or equivalent, within a luxury hotel environment.
- Proven expertise in managing operations across multiple departments, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage VIPs, celebrities, and high-profile guests with discretion and confidence, ensuring privacy and service excellence.
- A deep understanding of luxury service standards, guest relations, and the ability to anticipate and exceed guest needs.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, cost controls, and revenue optimisation.
- An inspiring leadership style that builds trust, motivates teams, and fosters collaboration across departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills such as Vietnamese or any extra language are an advantage.
- High degree of cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and international guests.
- Professional maturity, resilience, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Passion for luxury hospitality.
