You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to our Finance Accounting Policies, driving profitability, cost awareness + efficiency across Road Logistic.
How you create impact
You will do this by working with a variety of internal stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.
- To ensure timely revenue recognition, invoicing + gross profit confirmation per the Finance Accounting Policy.
- To coordinate with all suppliers for checking & confirming debit note.
- To check + index incoming supplier invoices, ensuring all transactions are accrued without error by operators; initiate + resolve any rate discrepancies.
- To ensure the timely closing of the Forwarding Sub-Leger (FSL), coordinating with Operation Team to resolve discrepancies.
- To improve KPIs related to finance policy.
- To provide administrative support in various processes within the team.
- To assist with the setting up + maintenance of our reports + systems.
- To support in internal + external communications.
What we would like you to bring
- Last year student in International Business/ Supply Chain/ Logistics, who can take full time internship for 12 months.
- Financial Skills: Understanding of financial principles and month-end reporting/closing
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
- Willing to learn, can-do-attitude, responsible, detail-oriented, organized and customer-oriented.
- Good at communication, problem solving, time and job management skills.
- Good command of English
