Job Description

Objectives

We are looking for an analytical, numbers-driven Revenue Operations Trainee with a strong foundation in Finance or Business Analytics — someone who wants to build a career in Revenue Operations from the ground up, directly mentored by PMAX's COO. This is a rare opportunity: you will not be doing administrative support work. You will be learning how a real revenue engine is built, measured, and improved — with hands-on exposure to CRM, pipeline analytics, funnel design, and forecasting from day one. The bar is high. PMAX is looking for a young talent who thinks like a financial analyst, obsesses over data accuracy, and wants to grow into a Revenue Operations Manager within 2 - 3 years. If you are the type who reads financial statements for fun, models pipelines in Excel for practice, and asks why is this number moving before anyone tells you to — this role is designed for you.

Job Description

Revenue Data & Analytics Support

  • Support the RevOps Manager and COO in building and maintaining revenue dashboards — MQL → SQL conversion, pipeline velocity, win rate, CAC, LTV, NRR — across the Growth function.
  • Conduct regular funnel and pipeline analysis; help identify bottlenecks, unusual movements, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and pipeline reports for internal review and COO-led business discussions.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis on revenue mix, deal profitability, and channel ROI to support decision-making.

CRM & Data Operations

  • Assist in CRM management (HubSpot / equivalent) — data hygiene, pipeline updates, deal-stage validation, and workflow support.
  • Learn how to design and configure basic CRM workflows, reports, and automations under the guidance of the RevOps Manager.
  • Reconcile CRM data against Finance and Delivery records to ensure a single source of truth for revenue reporting.
  • Identify data-quality gaps and propose fixes; contribute to standard operating procedures for pipeline data management.

Financial & Commercial Analysis

  • Apply financial and analytical frameworks (unit economics, cohort analysis, sensitivity analysis) to revenue and pipeline data.
  • Support forecasting exercises — pipeline coverage vs. target, revenue projections, scenario modeling — working closely with COO and RevOps Manager.
  • Build financial models to evaluate pricing scenarios, packaging changes, and channel investment decisions.
  • Translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations for the Growth leadership team.

Learning & Career Development

  • Work under the direct mentorship of PMAX's COO on strategic revenue and business analytics topics.
  • Shadow the RevOps Manager on pipeline reviews, GTM planning sessions, and CRO-led revenue discussions.
  • Complete structured on-the-job learning modules on CRM, revenue analytics, GTM, and B2B commercial operations.
  • Build a personal development plan with milestones toward a full RevOps role within 2 – 3 years.

Job Requirements

Must Have

Skills, Knowledge & Qualification

  • Fresh graduate or 0 – 1 year of experience — top-tier academic background in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, Economics, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
  • Preferred universities: RMIT, Foreign Trade University (FTU), National Economics University (NEU), UEH, UEL, or equivalent international programs.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical mindset — comfortable working with data, financial statements, and structured problem-solving frameworks.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills — formulas, pivots, lookups, basic modeling; able to organize messy data into clean, decision-ready output.
  • Strong business acumen for a fresh graduate — actively curious about how businesses grow, price, sell, and forecast.
  • Strong English communication — able to read business material and write clear analytical summaries.
  • Long-term commitment mindset — clear intent to grow with PMAX for at least 2 – 3 years, ambition to become a Revenue Operations Manager or Growth leader.

Good To Have

  • Prior internship in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Big 4 Audit, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or a fast-growing B2B / SaaS / Agency environment.
  • Exposure to CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) or BI tools (Google Data Studio, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) — even at introductory level.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
  • Active participation in finance / business case competitions, investment clubs, or analytics-focused student communities.
  • CFA Level 1 candidate or equivalent professional finance credentials in progress.

Mindset

  • Problem-solving: Approaches challenges with structured thinking. Doesn't wait to be told the answer — builds hypotheses, tests them, and moves forward.
  • AI-first: Actively uses AI tools to work smarter, faster, and better. Sees AI as a competitive advantage, not just a feature.
  • Can-do attitude: Embraces ambiguity and high standards. Takes ownership even when the path isn't clear. Finds a way.

PMAX-er Identification

  • Client Impact: Everything we do is ultimately to deliver real client impact and value.
  • Innovation: Innovation is to drive change and innovative new ideas to create more values for clients, teams and society.
  • People development: People development is to attract, develop, and retain the most talented people. Development is a responsibility, not a choice, of both the individual as well as the organization.
  • Integrity: Integrity is to be honest and show a consistent and uncompromising adherence to what is right, even if it is at our own cost.
  • Teamwork and fun: Teamwork and fun is the cooperative and collaborative effort of a team to achieve a common goal or to complete a task, and trying to build a joyful & enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
  • Extreme ownership: Extreme Ownership is the practice of owning everything in your world, to an extreme degree. Think of yourself as the owner of the company. It means you are responsible for not just those tasks which you directly control, but for all those that affect whether or not your task is successful.

Benefits

At PMAX, we invest seriously in the people who are serious about growth. For a Trainee, that means real work, real mentorship, and a real path to leadership — not a coffee-and-copies internship.

Growth & Development

  • Direct mentorship from PMAX's COO — one of the fastest ways to learn how a Total Performance Marketing company is actually run.
  • Structured internal training and a clear career path: high performers move from Trainee to Junior to Senior to Manager on a fast track.
  • Sponsored external L&D budget — courses, certifications (including CFA / financial analytics), and conferences that meaningfully change how you operate.
  • Daily exposure to top-tier clients (Vingroup, Estee Lauder, Tiki, Lazada, Shopee, Uniqlo, FE Credit, Standard Chartered, and more).

Recognition & Culture

  • Quarterly and yearly recognition awards, plus thoughtful gifts on birthdays, New Year, and team milestones.
  • Signature company moments: Company trip, Year End Party, Company Birthday, Culture Day, Quarterly Town Hall.
  • Quarterly team bonding budget and daily snack time — because high-performance teams should also enjoy showing up.

Health & Wellbeing

  • Social, Health & Unemployment Insurance on full salary (SHUI) after the probation program for official employees.
  • Annual health check-up and additional VNI healthcare insurance for official employees.
  • Laptop allowance or support for laptop purchase for official employees.

Flexibility & Perks

  • 4 work-from-home days per month and 15 paid leaves per year — designed for people who manage their own output.
  • Holiday activities and additional staff welfare allowances throughout the year.
