This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for a Retail Planning Senior Specialist at Samsung Electronics Vietnam. In this role, you will develop and implement retail sales strategies, track retail performance, and analyze market trends to optimize product stocking. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, enhancing the retail experience, supporting sales teams with product knowledge, and maintaining strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Role And Responsibilities
Retail Mapping & Segmentation
Provides thorough analysis of all retail stores in the country and identifies strategic and potential stores to achieve maximum return on investment. Cooperate with supervisors to manage daily operation of promoters at all stores.
Distribution and Visibility Strategy
Analyze to determine suitable products to display in stores based on retail mapping and the sales characteristics of each store for distribution and visibility competitiveness.
Channel Strategy
Assists in developing and executing channel sales strategies. Provides critical support in the identification of the go to market strategies and channel partner management.
Manage skillful field forces activities at both Modern and Traditional channels.
Trade Program and Retail Information & Strategies
Prepare all Market Intelligent reports, related to market price, competitors activities, promotion, evaluate its affection to sell-out and propose solution.
Cross-Functional Interaction
Works closely with Product Marketing and Sales to understand drivers of market growth and consumer demand & shopper needs.
Works closely with Retail Operations Team and Process Innovation/MCS/SCM team in tracking and reviewing sales performance.
Works closely with Field Force & Retail Operations on identification of retail opportunities based on retail execution, field force coverage and deployment.
Skills And Qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree or above with major of International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing.
At least 3 years of Trade Marketing / Retail Planning Experience
Communication, Presentation & Negotiation Skills
Analytical, Results-Oriented, Team Player
Understanding of competitive trade and industry structures
Knowledge of issues on trade concentration and market dynamics
Fluent English both oral and written, familiar in office soft.
