Job Description

As our Retail Performance & Pricing Lead, you will be responsible for shaping our market competitiveness, assortment strategy and performance improvement initiatives.

This role goes beyond execution; you will be the strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring our Retail business is guided by data-driven insights, competitive pricing and well-defined assortment strategies to maximize growth and profitability.

This is a high-visibility role where analytical thinking, commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration come together to drive results in a fast-moving, highly competitive e-commerce market.

Key Pillars of the Role

Performance & Profitability Management

You will integrate sales, margin and profitability targets into actionable strategies at the country level. You will lead performance monitoring, including target setting, intra-month reviews and campaign evaluations, while driving improvement initiatives to optimize GMV, profitability and overall Retail efficiency.

Pricing Strategy & Accuracy Control

You will define and execute country-level pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness while protecting profitability. Overseeing daily and periodic pricing operations, you will maintain the highest accuracy and compliance with internal policies, as well as managing competitor coverage and scraping activities while continuously improving data collection methods.

Assortment Development & Lifecycle Management

You will design data-driven assortment strategies aligned with customer demand, market trends and business objectives. Partnering with category teams, you will identify gaps, prioritize core assortments and develop incubation and offboarding frameworks, while collaborating with traffic and commercial teams to maximize visibility and sales of high-priority assortments.

Cross-Functional Alignment

You will work closely with merchandising, commercial, finance and operations teams to ensure strategies translate effectively into execution. Acting as a trusted advisor to Retail leadership, you will provide data-driven recommendations, risk assessments and trade-off analyses, while ensuring smooth coordination with regional stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

System & Process Optimization Online

You will collaborate with product, data and operations teams to enhance pricing, assortment and reporting tools, driving automation and reducing manual work through scalable processes.

Documentation & Training

You will maintain clear and updated process documentation for governance and consistency, while also supporting onboarding and capability building for local teams to strengthen pricing and assortment management practices.

Ad-Hoc Project Driver

You lead or contribute to strategic projects that deliver measurable value, from process automation to performance improvement initiatives. Beyond your core responsibilities, you play a key role in building resilience and enabling innovation across the Retail BU.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or related fields
  • Minimum 7-8 years experience in Retail, FMCG or e-commerce, covering performance management, category management, assortment or pricing; multi-domain exposure strongly preferred
  • Strong expertise in forecasting and assortment strategy, with ability to translate data and market insights into actionable business outcomes
  • High proficiency in Excel and strong command of SQL; experience with BI/forecasting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, SAP IBP, etc.) is a plus
  • Solid supplier and commercial management experience, with understanding of procurement, logistics and warehouse processes
  • Proven track record in improving SOPs, building reporting frameworks and driving scalable operations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning and influencing across functions and levels
  • Agile, adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required
