About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Overview Of The Role

The candidate will be responsible for parameter maintenance across core banking, cards, and channel systems, providing functional support, assist in UAT preparation and execution, maintain system access governance, and uphold compliance standards as DCOS for VN RORC.

Job Responsiblities

System Parameter Management & User Support

  • Centralized maintenance of parameters for 16 application systems under three key pillars (Core Banking, Cards and Channels), serving both Retail and Wholesale (for shared systems).
  • Provide assistance on functional-related queries from users.
  • Ensure all parameter maintenance workflows comply with regulatory requirements, UOB policies, and audit standards.

Testing & Data Preparation

  • Create UAT data for other teams upon request.
  • Participate in UAT activities as arranged with Functional Management and User Testing teams.

Tools & Access Management

  • Support other OCs in building and maintaining EUC tools and working tools.
  • Review and update application access matrix as system owner/system steward.

Others

  • Serve as DCOS for VN RORC, including responsibilities for: KORI, DCC, KRCSA, BCM and other related compliance activities.
  • Other tasks as assigned by line manager

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of banking experience.
  • Bachelor's degree Finance, Banking, IT or related field.
  • Good understanding of operational workflow and banking products, including casa, deposit, cards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent teamwork and analytical skills.
  • Competent with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Good understanding of VBA is a plus.
