About the Role

To lead all planning, leasing, build-out, and launch activities for 10 Kodo retail stores/pop-up stores in Vietnam's top shopping malls, ensuring fast expansion, cost efficiency, and full brand compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Store Rollout

  • Identify and secure strategic mall locations (Vincom, Lotte, Aeon, Crescent, Takashimaya)
  • Lead leasing negotiations, rent terms, legal compliance
  • Manage contractors: building, fixtures, electrical, VM installation
  • Oversee store design, layout, construction timelines
  • Prepare opening documentation, mall approvals, inspections
  • Deliver each store on time, on budget, and according to brand standards

2. Store Operations Setup

  • Create full retail SOP: staffing, cash handling, merchandising, opening/closing
  • Recruit store staff with HR team
  • Train fragrance consultants on product knowledge
  • Implement VM guidelines across all stores
  • Set up POS, inventory system, retail operations workflows

3. Financial & Reporting

  • Build and manage store rollout budgets
  • Weekly updates on progress, risks, vendor coordination
  • Maintain P&L for each store's launch

4. Vendor & Mall Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with mall leasing managers
  • Manage all permit submissions
  • Ensure operational compliance with mall regulations

5. KPIs for Retail Expansion Manager

Store Rollout KPIs

  • 10 stores opened in 12 months
  • Store opening on schedule:>90%on-time
  • Build-out cost deviation:5%
  • Mall approval pass rate:100%

Operational KPIs

  • SOP implementation rate:100%
  • Retail staff training delivered prior to opening:100%
  • Inventory readiness prior to launch:100%

What You Bring

  • 37 yearsretail expansion or store development experience
  • Experience opening stores inshopping malls(mandatory)
  • Strong vendor/project management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple store build-outs simultaneously
  • Understanding of retail operations & VM
  • Negotiation & leasing experience
  • Vietnamese (native), English (advantage)

What We Offer

35 45 million VND / month

Depending on experience & mall network connections

8. 12-Month Roadmap

  • Months 12:secure first 3 malls, finalize store design module
  • Months 36:open 45 stores
  • Months 712:open remaining stores, optimize VM, train staff

  • Which malls do you have relationships with
  • Describe a problem during build-out and how you solved it.

Assignment:

  • Provide astore rollout planfor 10 stores
