JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Department Leader to manage a department within a sports retail store in Long Bien, Hanoi. This role will be responsible for team management, commercial performance, customer experience, and daily store operations.
1. Develop & Manage the Team
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.
- Build a positive, safe, and collaborative working environment.
- Lead and develop the team to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and code of conduct.
- Work closely with the Store Leader on team compensation and people-related decisions.
2. Drive Commercial Performance
- Analyze customer and market data to identify business opportunities.
- Build and implement product, service, and merchandising strategies.
- Develop customer communities through communication activities and events.
- Ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Drive initiatives to improve sales performance and business growth.
3. Manage Customer Experience
- Ensure a high-quality customer experience across the department.
- Implement sales, merchandising, and store execution standards.
- Manage customer loyalty activities and utilize customer data.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement relevant action plans.
- Ensure customers can easily find and access products.
4. Manage Business Performance
- Build annual business objectives and team targets.
- Monitor and analyze business performance and forecasts.
- Develop and implement action plans across People / Planet / Business.
- Plan team schedules according to business needs.
- Ensure stock accuracy, product availability, and effective inventory management.
5. Store Operations & Safety
- Ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, and store assets.
- Ensure proper knowledge and use of store systems and equipment.
- Take responsibility for daily business and service operations.
- Ensure the department is well organized and operates efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passionate about sports and interested in developing a career in retail.
- Previous experience in team management / team leadership.
- Dynamic, proactive, and highly responsible with strong organizational skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Good commercial and analytical mindset.
- Willing to work according to store schedules, including weekends (5 working days per week).
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
