[HCMC, VIETNAM] R&D MANAGER – CT MODULEX

CT Modulex is a pioneering company in smart modular home manufacturing, built to industrialized standards and targeting international markets. We are looking for an R&D Manager to lead our product research and development team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The R&D Manager will be responsible for building the strategy and leading the full scope of research and development activities for modular home products, guiding a cross-disciplinary team from concept, design, and prototyping through testing and production handover. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop the R&D strategy, technology/product roadmap, and project portfolio
- Establish and control the product development process across key gates: concept, detailed design, DFM/DFA, prototyping, FAT/SAT, acceptance, and handover
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Architecture, Structural/Mechanical, Mechatronics, MEP, Production, and Procurement
- Build and develop a multidisciplinary R&D team; establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms
- Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and engineering change control
- Engage with suppliers, technical partners, universities/research institutes, and certification bodies
- Organize testing, standardization, and product handover to Production and QA/QC
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP, or a related engineering field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in R&D, product development, or engineering, including at least 3 years in a team lead/managerial role
- Proven experience leading integrated, multidisciplinary hardware products from concept through production/commercialization
- Experience in modular/prefab construction, structural panel systems, mechanical systems, automation, or the automotive industry (R&D, product design and development, structural, mechanical, or mechatronics) is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of product development processes, BOM, DFM/DFA, configuration control, and production handover
- English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation and communicating with international partners
- Strong systems thinking, leadership capability, and data-driven decision-making
