Role Overview

We are seeking experienced KoreanEnglish Medical Interpreters for a full-time, remote Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) position. This role supports medical appointments, consultations, and urgent healthcare interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate, impartial interpretation between Korean-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology and interpreter ethics

Handle sensitive and urgent medical calls with professionalism

Remain available during assigned shifts and participate in quality reviews or team check-ins as required

Candidate Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Korean and English

Minimum 1 year of professional medical interpreting experience (OPI or VRI)

Strong understanding of medical terminology, ethics, and confidentiality standards

High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)

Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills

Comfortable working remotely and managing varied call types

Must successfully pass a language proficiency assessment and background check
