Our Client is a US Start-up, growing a SW team in Vietnam. They're looking for a Lead Back-End Engineer who's passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and wants to push technical boundaries.
Key criteria for the role:
- 8 years of SW experience hands-on with Java (Spring), AWS, Docker, Microservices,MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka & leading a team of 3 members.
- Confident in algorithms and data structure.
- Fluency in modern engineering methodologies, using AI-assisted development tools and
- automation to accelerate speed, improve quality, and drive efficiency across the stack.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend systems that power core platform.
- Build and optimize APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and security are embedded in every layer of the stack.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the AI, platform, and design teams to integrate intelligent, real-time
- features.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to increase speed, reduce bugs, and enhance code quality.
- Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and deployment processes.
