REMOTE - Engineering Manager (Java) - Vietnamese only

Role Description

My client is looking for a Engineering Manager who's passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and wants to push technical boundaries. You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering, AI/ML team, and front-end engineers to design and deliver systems that power the company's next-generation creative platform. We're not just building faster, we're building smarter.

You'll be encouraged (and expected) to leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to write, optimize, and ship code with greater efficiency and quality. Candidates must have experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment and scaling products and teams. They must also be available to work in-person/onsite at our office in Ho Chi Minh City

Qualifications

• Key criteria for the role: In addition to being a full-stack engineer, the candidate should also have a strong background in ML/AI. The candidate will work closely with our current team to develop and enhance Company's AI generative layout model.
• This role requires a versatile engineer who is comfortable working across the entire tech stack and has a passion for integrating AI/ML capabilities into full-stack applications.
• Min 8-10+ years of SW experience hands-on with Java, Spring Framework, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Fluency in modern engineering methodologies, using AI-assisted development tools and automation to accelerate speed, improve quality, and drive efficiency across the stack. Or experienced in game development, CAD software, or other graphics-intensive applications
• Stacks: Java, Spring Framework, JavaScript/TypeScript, Canvas 2D, WebGL, WebGPU (ok if it matches 50% tech stacks, but willing to learn as fast as possible)
• DO NOT ACCEPT candidates who change jobs every 12 months
• Fluent in English.
