Position: Accountant Assistant
Location: Only HCM candidates are acceptable
Type of contract: Full-time Contractor
Key Responsibilities
- Intercompany Reconciliation Reconcile group accounts across subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy in intercompany transactions and eliminating discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting Support Review, verify, and control reporting packages received from subsidiaries, ensuring consistency, completeness, and timely submission.
- Data Management Input financial data into Excel sheets, maintain structured financial records, and ensure data integrity.
- Budget Monitoring Maintain budget records, track actual performance against budgeted figures, and flag variances for review.
- Bank & Credit Card Management Review and reconcile bank and credit card transactions, maintain organised transaction files, and monitor cash flow.
- Financial Statements & Tax Support Assist the controller in preparing financial statements, tax reports, and compliance filings across different jurisdictions.
- Analytical Analysis Conduct financial and operational analysis.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Support Assist in tracking and reconciling vendor invoices, payments, and customer collections across entities.
- Audit Preparation & Compliance Help gather and organise documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Payroll Assistance Provide support with payroll processing as needed, including employee expense tracking and reconciliations.
- Ad Hoc Financial Projects Assist in various finance-related projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Compulsory requirement: Fluent in English communication (MUST!)
- 3 years+ experience in an International Accounting working environment
