About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operation:
  • Handling daily operations (remittance transaction, account opening and maintenance, updating customer's information, issue GEB token, print bank statements, etc.) as Maker to process on core-system and other relevant systems.
  • Ensuring and monitoring the number of applications processed within the day to meet SLA
  • Comply with established operational control and audit procedures
  • Admin supports:
  • Fedex/EMS: handle mailing in, out to client via Fedex/EMS, follow up and address clients inquiries.
  • EWF: handle scan completed document into EWF for storage.
  • Reconciliation where required
  • And others delegated tasks will be communicated by management if there are changes and updates

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Banking/Finance major. At least 1–2-year experience in Banking Service, Account opening for corporate clients is preferrable.
  • Possess a positive mindset with a CAN-DO attitude and passion to deliver quality customer services
  • Strong customer service mindset and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding customers expectations
  • Team player, problem-solving skills, and well time management
  • Resourceful, proactive, results-driven, attentive to details
  • Able to multitask
  • Proficient in PC skills including MS Office applications
  • Fluently (written and spoken) in English and effectively computer programming language (VBA/VBS) are advantage but no compulsory
