We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to food, pharmaceutical, and personal care products, including blending, mixing, and sourcing of ingredients. The role formally reports to the Managing Director, with a dotted reporting line to the Head of Regulatory for the Asia and Pacific region. This is a critical role in our organization, and the successful candidate will have a significant impact on the quality and safety of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Regulatory Policies and the Quality Management System.
- Coordinate ISO certification processes, including preparation and scheduling of internal and external audits.
- Ensure all SOPs are properly developed, implemented, and maintained.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and governance requirements.
- Monitor and ensure timely execution of corrective action plans from customer, internal, and external audits.
- Coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to Regulatory KPIs in alignment with regional and local Regulatory Managers.
- Support import compliance processes, including daily screening and acting as the key contact for related queries.
- Maintain HS code classification, SDS management, and supplier evaluation programs.
- Ensure HSEQ compliance with local regulations, including: Compliance of food, pharma, and personal care products with applicable standards (e.g., FDA, EU, and global requirements), Compliance of blending and mixing operations with regulatory standards.
- Implement company regulatory compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on potential impacts.
- Review and ensure product labeling complies with applicable regulations.
- Support regulatory compliance in sourcing ingredients, including proper documentation and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
- Provide regulatory guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
