About the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA): The RBA is a business association committed to helping our members understand and improve the social and environmental challenges and opportunities in the global supply chain. Our vision is to help our members build an industry supply chain that consistently operates with social, environmental and economic responsibility. RBA accomplishes this through building and implementing programs and initiatives, including the Responsible Labor Initiative (RLI), Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) and Responsible Factory Initiative (RFI).
We are currently hiring a RegionalMembership Manager to support the global membership team for RBA and it's initiatives, including the Responsible Labor Initiative (RLI) and the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). This position is an exciting opportunity to engage with members, suppliers and stakeholders globally, to facilitate implementation of tools and programs aimed at strengthening worker engagement by RBA's members across the world.

Location and Line Management
This position reports directly to the Vice President, Member Experience. RBA HQ is in Alexandria, VA, United States. Seeking a candidate to support membership in Asia. Fully remote will be considered.
Position Summary
The RegionalMembership Manager will support the membership promotion, retention, and support efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide member prospect support through sharing details of member benefits, resources, and programs.
- Support existing member support requests from platform access, training, information analysis, and recommendations
- Prompt response to all Membership inquiries, and support tickets in our Membership helpdesk
- Assist with managing the CRM/Membership database, by keeping the information up to date and working with the software teams to improve automated processes
- Encourage uptake of RBA's worker voice tools through each stage to encourage uptake and usage of RBA's worker voice program:
- Promotion and marketing through webinars, 1:1 calls, demos, in-person meetings and creation of promotion collateral;
- Support onboarding and provide coaching to members and suppliers through initial deployment;
- Support implementation and deployment by RBA members and suppliers, supporting factories to promote the tool to workers and increase worker engagement and usage of the RBA tools.
- Ensure transparency and alignment to regulatory requirements by maintaining a library of updated documentation on FAQs, processes and protocols, and publishing these on the RBA and RLI websites as required and/or recommended by best practice guidelines.
- Support additional membership program tasks, as assigned.
Required education, knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional working experience, ideally in worker rights, supply chain or ESG
- Project management experience: ability to create efficient processes to coordinate, implement and manage cross-functional projects.
- Knowledgeable in utilizing IT systems and account administration.
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-starter with an ability to manage work independently, with a high level of technical independence and judgment.
- Confidence to identify and communicate problems, ask questions, and appropriately elevate concerns.
- Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to cultural differences.
- Ability to confidently engage with local, national, and international stakeholders.
- Fluency in English language at business level
- Ability to multi-task and work on a number of projects with varying priority levels.
- Bachelor degree or higher from accredited academic institution
Preferred education and experience
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience of:
- International ESG standards and initiatives
- Worker engagement and grievance mechanisms / tools and IT platforms in factories.
- Labor and ethics standards and due diligence frameworks, with a specific focus on human trafficking and forced labor.
- Ability to speak other languages, including Mandarin or Japanese.
Location / Additional Pertinent Information
- RBA HQ is in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C.
- Regular evening calls will be required to accommodate meetings in a US time zone. Calls will take place 2-3x per week with VP, Member Experience between the hours of approximately 7am-9am Eastern Standard Time.
- The first 2-3 weeks of this position will consist of in-person training at the RBA HQ in Alexandria, VA with VP, Member Experience. The candidate must be able to accommodate this trip.
