About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Regional HR Operations Manager to own HR operational excellence across Hello Health Group's regional footprint, with deep execution responsibility and subject-matter expertise in Vietnam.

This role is critical to building robust, compliant, scalable HR operations, ensuring consistency across countries while managing local regulatory complexity. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition, and the rest of the Regional HR team to design, standardize, and continuously improve HR processes and systems in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role is the engine room of regional HR operations.

Responsibilities

Regional HR Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Own and drive HR operational excellence across all HHG markets, ensuring:
  • Consistent, well-documented HR processes
  • Clear governance, controls, and accountabilities
  • Design, standardize, and maintain regional HR policies, SOPs, and process frameworks
  • Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and gaps and drive practical, scalable improvements
  • Drive process automation and system-enabled efficiencies by partnering with Regional HR and IT to develop and implement systems for scalability and reporting capabilities, ensuring clean, accurate, and audit-ready employee data across all markets

Payroll Governance & Workforce Cost Management

  • Own regional payroll governance, working with internal HR team members and third-party payroll vendors across markets
  • Ensure payroll processes are accurate, timely and statutorily compliant
  • Prepare and consolidate regional reporting on headcount, staff costs, payroll variances
  • Support payroll audits and reconciliations

Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Management

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and statutory requirements across all countries
  • Serve as the regional point of coordination for employment law and compliance matters
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for Vietnam, including: Vietnam Labour Law; Social, health, and unemployment insurance; Personal Income Tax (PIT)
  • Engagement with labour, tax, and social insurance authorities
  • Track regulatory changes regionally and ensure timely communication and implementation

Employee Experience

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless hiring-to-onboarding processes
  • Implement standardized processes across the region while respecting local requirements
  • Enable managers with clear HR processes, documentation, and guidance
  • Support onboarding, exits, and sensitive employee cases from an operational and compliance perspective
  • Act as a trusted HR operations partner for employees and managers
  • Support engagement and internal communication initiatives from an execution and process standpoint
  • Lead and coordinate employee engagement initiatives across all market

Talent Management & Performance Enablement

  • Lead and coordinate the regional performance management process
  • Partner with leaders and managers to drive quality OKR setting and improve performance conversations and outcomes
  • Ensure performance processes are well-communicated and executed on time
  • Support retention strategies and workforce effectiveness initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 6+ years of HR experience, with strong focus on HR Operations and Talent Management
  • Minimum 2 years in a managerial or regional HR role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll governance, and HR best practices
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regional teams
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong execution discipline
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
  • Prior exposure to audits, labour inspections, or regulatory reviews
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
