Overview

We are looking for a Regional Head of Data & Analytics who will play a critical role in leading the development of data infrastructure and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to oversee data management, analytics, and team development across the Southeast Asia region.

What We're Looking For:

• Leadership Experience Proven track record in managerial level, managing teams of 5+ members.
• Expertise in Data Management & Analytics Strong knowledge of data platform and technology, data governance, analytics solutions, and best practices.
• Project & Stakeholder Management Ability to juggle multiple projects, drive results, and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Strong Communication & Influence Excellent skills in negotiation, presentations, and leadership collaboration.
• Certifications (Preferred, but a plus) CDMP (Data Management), PMP (Project Management), or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Take ownership of business metrics end to end from extracting and exploring data, generating hypotheses, building a structured analysis, automating repetitive tasks, and rigorously evaluating methods and results.
• Implement state-of-the-art analytics tools and methodologies to enable efficient data exploration and visualization.
• Drive the adoption of a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization, ensuring stakeholders understand and can effectively utilize analytics.
• Leading experiments design, implementation, and analysis (A/B tests, synthetic controls, etc.) to seize opportunities to prioritize business decisions.
• Solve ambiguous problems through a structured framework. Priorities high-impact work, execute and communicate the insights to senior management.
• Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of high-performing data engineer and analysts.
• Oversee the development of advanced analytical models (e.g., predictive modelling, machine learning, and AI) to solve complex business problems.
• Provide thought leadership in leveraging AI/ML to develop innovative, data-driven products and solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the analytics capabilities of the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/Data Science/Computer Science/Business/Statistics, or a related field. A master's degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum 810 years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or consulting, with a strong track record of leading and delivering large-scale analytics initiatives across multiple geographies.
• Technical Expertise:

1. Advanced knowledge of analytics frameworks and methodologies.

2. Strong proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, R, or similar).

3. Proven experience in data visualization using tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

4. Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and big data technologies, including data pipelines, machine learning models, and cloud-based data architecture.

5. Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and security frameworks to ensure proper data usage across regions.
