We are looking for Regional Director of Sales APAC - Melia Hotels International (based in Ho Chi Minh Corporate Office or Bangkok Corporate Office)
Mission:
The Regional Director of Sales APAC is a critical commercial leadership role responsible for driving top-line revenues according to the defined objectives, market share improvements, and enterprise-level corporate relationships across all hotels in APAC. This position leads the supervision of MHI Sales strategy and guidelines across APAC portfolio and guarantees the revenues contribution into MHI APAC P&L.
What will you have to do
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and validate the Sales budgets (revenues and expenses for sales activities) for the hotels in APAC in coordination with Revenue Management, F&B and Operations MHI Corporate Team.
Develop and coordinate the execution with the hotels team of the annual sales strategy (B2C and B2B segments) to achieve or exceed assigned APAC revenue quotas.
Analyse market trends, business intelligence (STR data for example) and accounts feedback to coordinate real-time tactical adjustments depending on the hotel and main source markets.
Consolidate the position as the main point of contact with MHI Corporate Office in Spain to coordinate sales actions with each segment (for example MICE / Group desk, Global Sales Teams)
In collaboration with Revenue Management, lead the application of MHI corporate governance model (Hotel business reviews and Corporate Commercial Reviews)
Supervise the hotels sales activities to maximise the contribution to the top line revenues (fair, sales missions, sales calls).
Participate in the recruiting, mentor and management of a decentralized team of Sales & Marketing Directors hotel based.
Establish sharp, transparent KPI for the sales, conduct regular reviews and coordinate yearly trainings.
Organise Appreciation Events on behalf of MHI.
Collaborate closely with Corporate Regional teams (Revenue, Marketing, E-Commerce, Operations, Finance) and Hotel General Managers to guarantee the best alignment possible.
What are we looking for
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
LANGUAGES: Advanced English. Local language such as Vietnamese or Thai would be an asset.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position. At least 3 years in a regional, multi-property role within the APAC market.
