RED+ is PVA's new and independent distribution channel, to be launched in 2nd Quarter 2019. The channel's mission is to tap into the potentials of Urban customer segments by leveraging a new generation of young, dynamic and highly professional financial advisors, called Pru-Planners. Pru-Planners go through rigorous selection process, comprehensive learning & development program (Entrepreneurship Development Program). Pru-Planners will be developed to become Sales Director or Urban Director.
The role of Business Development Manager (BDM) is a sales management role and the jobholder directly report to Regional Head.
The Jobholder is accountable for successfully execution of the PVA Urban strategies as well as achievement of RED+ business objectives.
The Jobholder has primary responsibility for establishment of a team of high-productive Pru-planner and is accountable for managing the team daily sales activities leading and driving them to achieve APE production rolling out sales activities & business activation and robust supporting Pru-Planners in career development.

Job Purpose

RED+ is a full-time agency program of Prudential Vietnam (PVA), belonging to Agency channel which mission is to provide financial protection solutions for Urban customer segments. This program focuses on the quality recruitment of young, dynamic, highly professional and productive financial consultants (FC), training and developing them to become a new generation of successful leaders and entrepreneurs, especially in life insurance through a full-time targeted operating model. The incumbent of this job is responsible for:

  • Quality recruitment of FCs
  • Driving FCs to achieve business objectives (APE, FC activation, PruElite, MDRT and leader development) with high quality
  • Implement activity management with discipline
  • Execution initiatives to support sales and recruitment

Job Responsibilities

1. Recruit quality FCs /

  • Direct sourcing, attract, approach and recruit high quality FC /
  • Monitor, support and motivate FCs to maintain the high retention rate /

2. Activate FCs to become highly-productive producers /

  • Provide on-the-job coaching, sales mentoring to FCs, conducting Joint-Field-Work (JFW) and provide them with constructive feedback for improvement /
  • Implement activities management of DILO-MILO-WILO for vital behaviors and support FCs in achieving the desired standard /
  • Supervise, monitor and track daily activities and performance of FC, proactively provide necessary support and recommendations to ensure FCs stay on track on target and maintain high productivity /
  • Provide best practice sharing and skill drill to help FCs equipped necessary skills and sharpen the saw
  • Coordinate with Training team to guide FCs and ensure their progress to be in line with Training roadmap's
  • Closely Follow Up-Follow Thru after each training courses for each FC /

3. Develop FCs to become quality full-time leaders

  • Identify potential FCs who can be groomed to future leader /
  • Do mind setting, inspire and continuously motivate potential FC for future leader's career /
  • Conduct 1-1 coaching on recruitment and team activation, sales builder to potential future leader /
  • Implement activities management of DILO-MILO-WILO for future leader's vital behaviors and support FCs in achieving the desired standard /
  • Keep track on FC's progress and provide appropriate robust support and recommendations to help FCs stay on track on leader career development and maintain high quality recruitment and team activation /
  • Work closely with the training team to identify gaps in leader's skills and subsequently provide specific training to address the gap / .
  • Lead by example in practicing and role-playing regarding leader development's training and closely FUFT /

4. Embrace the quality of business/Nng cao

  • Be responsible for Year 2 premium collection persistency /
  • Be accountable for fostering a compliance culture as well as managing operational & compliance risks by liaising with the compliance coordinator to implement PVA internal control & Group compliance policies. /
  • Direct the enforcement of need-based sales process, policies & procedures, local regulations, internal control & operational risks to ensure full adherence to PVA legal and regulatory requirements across this channel /
  • Other tasks and projects assigned by managers. /

5. Drive sales and expand quality team /

  • Do planning (weekly/monthly/quarterly) with concrete action plan for each FC and leaders to achieve business target in sales and recruitment, and efficiently implement the actions plan to transfer it to positive results
  • Continuously expand team though quality recruitment, build highly productive FCs like PruElite, MDRT and develop quality leader / .

This role is to recruit, build, drive and manage activities of team of FCs to deliver business objectives including quality recruitment, APE, activation and productivity of FCs, development of PruElite, MDRT and leaders with high quality quality. /

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance /
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales management in Finance/Banking/Insurance industry with team size at least 10 salespeople /
