Overview:
The TA Manager will lead teams in their functional areas. They ensure the effective and timely execution of plans and initiatives to ensure delivery of targets, maintain talent acquisition processes and develop and mentor the teams they lead. Assists in the planning, implementation, organization, and control of Talent Acquisition efforts department. Leads and oversees day to day management of the functions responsible for and the proper distribution of the tasks and responsibilities among the members of the team. Ensures attainment of hiring targets and job qualifications. Plays a vital role in client and customer management and takes an active role with regard to recruitment consulting, client expectations setting, understanding of technical and industry hiring practices, availability of skills, etc. Provides input to talent acquisition processes, reviews and identifies areas for improvement, and suggests and executes new strategies to bring about increased efficiency and effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition function. Establishes professional working relationships with other internal and external groups / organizations to ensure recruitment activities align with the fast-paced and continuously changing business demands. Recommends and executes new action plans to increase quality candidates. Empowers respective team members in the different Talent Acquisition functions and tasks. Assists the HR Sr. Manager / HR Director / HR VP in the planning and implementation of innovative and strategic initiatives.
- Responsible for effectively implementing talent acquisition processes, procedures and strategies to ensure profitability and business growth.
- Develops & executes innovative and strategic talent acquisition initiatives which targets increased efficiency, profitability, over-all quality and retention.
- Ensures attainment of staffing requirements across multiple programs or sites to enable the company to meet and exceed goals and targets.
- Works with business leaders to establish and execute against targeted proactive talent acquisition strategies to meet growth demands.
- Responsible for the management of the Talent Acquisition functions and bringing the improvements to the talent acquisition processes, including but not limited to sourcing, recruitment, talent data bank development and upskilling of technical recruiters.
- Conducts studies, reviews industry best practices and recommends improvements in hiring retention initiatives.
- Develops team members through regular and continuous coaching, mentoring, training, performance reviews and professional learning opportunities.
- Owns the end-to-end talent acquisition process and continuously formulates changes and improvements that align with business requirements.
- Provide various management reports and decks.
- Develops and produces reports and metrics which assist in forecasting, measuring and evaluating talent acquisition activity and quality.
- Closely coordinates with the marketing department in developing advertising and other talent acquisition materials for publication and use in talent acquisition activities.
- Develops and fosters close relationships with customers
- Participates in the budgeting process and takes ownership of cost control measures and the appropriate requisition and allocation of resources.
- Creates and maintains a rewarding atmosphere that fosters open communication, empowerment, and accountability.
- Improves team morale by providing coaching and mentoring to all TA staff.
Required skills + qualities (technical):
- With at least Seven (7) years of working experience with at least Three (3) years extensive Talent Acquisition experience in a Supervisory and/or management capacity, preferably within the IT/BPO services industry.
- Exposure to customer service, sales or any labor-intensive industry is a plus. Such talent acquisition experience in a managerial capacity may have also been obtained while working as an Operations, Sr Operations Manager, QA/Sr QA Manager, Training/Sr Training Manager, Workforce Manager or other similar profile.
- Proficiency in various recruitment strategies, sourcing approaches and knowledge of recruitment principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in face to face behavioral interviews.
- General / basic knowledge of other Human Resources areas and principles (i.e. Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations).
- General / basic knowledge of IT/ BPO industry talents, operations and organization.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel).
