Role Description
*Recruitment
- Plan and implement recruitment activities based on headcount planning and production/business needs.
- Develop and improve the recruitment process, from job descriptions to probation evaluation.
- Expand and optimize recruitment channels, especially for workers/technicians (vocational schools, job centers, internal referrals, etc.).
- Participate in employer branding activities such as job fairs, career talkshows, and recruitment communications.
- Analyze recruitment data, assess effectiveness, and propose improvements.
*Training program planning and develoment
- Develop training plans (monthly, quarterly, and annual) focused on job-specific technical skills for production positions (e.g., stitching operators, preparation, cutting, etc.).
- Compile, standardize training materials (slides, videos, practical guidelines) tailored to the specialized skills of the bag/backpack manufacturing industry.
- Collaborate closely with Production leaders and Engineering team to accurately identify training needs and determine skills gaps.
*Training delivery and monitoring
- Organize, schedule, and either directly conduct or support internal trainers/Technical experts in delivering training sessions.
- Closely monitor training attendance, learning quality, and the skill acquisition rate of trainees.
- Provide on-site support and consult on production training line to ensure trainees correctly apply the acquired techniques.
*Skill management and performance evaluation
- Manage the annual Skill progression program and Evaluation System for all production employees.
- Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of training courses and upskilling programs, which includes developing test materials and satisfaction survey questionnaires.
- Generate regular reports on training progress, skill assessment results, and propose adjustments (if any) to the training curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Training & Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 2- 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing facility (preferably in garment/bag/footwear industry); solid understanding of production processes and skill requirements
- Proficient in MS Office; strong planning, course organization, and effective communication/presentation skills.Proven ability to convey technical/procedural information clearly, with excellent skills in direct demonstration/on-site coaching for factory trainees.
- Able to communicate in English or Chinese is a plus.
