Lead research on key ingredients for milk tea applications, including tea varieties (black, green, oolong), non-dairy creamer, syrups, toppings (boba pearls, jelly), and fruit jams.
Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to identify new product opportunities.
Product Development & Optimization
Collaborate with R&D to improve existing formulations in terms of taste, cost efficiency, and usability for F&B chains.
Translate market insights into product concepts and development directions.
Scale-up & Commercialization Support
Work closely with production teams to support the transition from lab-scale to pilot and mass production.
Monitor product performance post-launch and propose improvements based on customer feedback.
Technical Sales Support
Partner with the Sales team to provide technical consultation and product application demonstrations (e.g., beverage preparation) for clients and F&B chains.
Support customer onboarding with customized solutions based on their business needs.
Quality & Compliance
Contribute to building technical standards for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, and Production teams.
Share market insights and product knowledge internally to drive innovation.
2. Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Technology, Chemistry, Business, or related fields.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in food & beverage industry (R&D, product development, or market research).
Experience in F&B ingredient manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of flavorings, food additives, and milk tea components is an advantage.
Skills
Strong sensory evaluation skills and product understanding.
Good understanding of milk tea trends and consumer behavior.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good command of English, especially for working with international suppliers.
