The role ensures that simulation reflects hardware status, use-case conditions, and thermal/electrical system behavior.
Key Responsibilities:·Maintain full vehicle & system breakdown for Range, Efficiency & performance simulation model.
·Align model architecture with evolving system specifications understanding BEV, REEV etc.
·Run WLTP, EPA, CLTC, and custom driving cycles for range prediction.
·Benchmark competitor vehicles and calibrate model fidelity.
·Conduct scenario-based analyses and provide input to decision-making.
·Correlate model output with test data and drive continuous refinement.
·Support alignment of SSTS & VTS targets and validation planning.
Key Deliverables:· Range model releases with updated sub-system blocks.
· Program-specific range prediction reports.
· Sensitivity studies (HVAC, Drive cycle, weight, etc.).
· Correlation reports (test vs. model).
· Range model usage guidelines and documentation.
