Aufgabengebiet
- Lead and manage all R&D activities, ensuring alignment with business strategy and department KPIs.
- Oversee product design and development for furniture, lamps, and accessories, from concept to prototype.
- Manage and develop the in-house design team, including designers and draftsmen.
- Collaborate with customers and external designers to define product requirements and expectations.
- Conduct product research, material selection, and design optimization to ensure functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with production and cross-functional teams to develop samples and ensure smooth product commercialization.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation initiatives, and new material/finish development.
- Manage departmental resources, budgets, performance, and talent development
Anforderungsprofil
- Bachelor's degree or above in design, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar R&D or design leadership role, preferably in furniture or manufacturing.
- Strong design capability with good understanding of materials, structures, and production processes.
- Experience working with international clients and exposure to global market trends is an advantage.
- Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in design tools, ERP systems, and strong English communication skills
