Our client is a leading multinational company in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, committed to developing innovative and sustainable home care products that improve consumers everyday lives. They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
R&D Lab Technician to support product development and laboratory operations within the Home Care R&D team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare raw materials, formulations, and samples for laboratory testing and product development activities.
- Conduct routine laboratory experiments, physical and chemical testing, and performance evaluations following established procedures.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report experimental results to support product development and continuous improvement.
- Assist scientists and R&D specialists in formulation development, product optimization, and validation activities.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable testing results.
- Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards and laboratory best practices.
- Manage laboratory consumables, chemicals, and sample inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to support project execution and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the FMCG, consumer goods, chemical, or home care industry.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, testing methods, and formulation preparation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with laboratory data management systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO standards, or other laboratory quality systems is preferred.
