Position Summary
The R&D Strategy Portfolio – Projects Management will play a key role in driving strategic R&D initiatives across AIG's business units. This position is responsible for managing the R&D project portfolio, coordinating cross-functional innovation projects, monitoring project execution, and ensuring alignment between R&D activities and business growth strategies.
The role requires strong project management capabilities, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of food ingredients, manufacturing, and innovation processes.
Key Responsibilitie

- tSupport the Head of R&D in developing and executing the R&D innovation roadmap aligned with company business objectives
- .Manage and monitor the overall R&D project portfolio across multiple categories and business units
- .Prioritize projects based on strategic importance, market potential, resources, risks, and timelines
- .Track project progress, milestones, KPIs, budgets, and resource allocation
.Project Managemen
- tLead cross-functional R&D projects from concept development to commercialization
- .Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, QA/QC, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project implementation
- .Establish project timelines, deliverables, governance processes, and reporting structures
.Innovation & Market Insight
- sConduct market intelligence and trend analysis related to food ingredients, flavors, nutrition, beverage, bakery, dairy, seasoning, or related sectors
- .Support innovation pipeline development through customer insights, technology scouting, and competitor analysis
- .Collaborate with internal and external partners, suppliers, and customers on innovation initiatives
.Performance & Reportin
- gPrepare regular R&D portfolio reports and strategic updates for management
- .Develop dashboards and performance tracking tools for project efficiency and innovation effectiveness
- .Analyze project outcomes and recommend continuous improvement initiatives

Requiremen
- tsBachelor's degree or above in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- s.MBA or Project Management certification is an advantag
- e.Minimum 5–8 years of experience in R&D project management, innovation management, strategy, or portfolio management within Food Ingredients, FMCG, Food Manufacturing, or related industrie
- s.Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholder
