Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategic project: Tooling Development, Process Optimization & Global Compliance.

You will be at the heart of the action, collaborating closely with our designers (in-house & freelance), packaging specialists, the R&D team, and the Production team directly on the shop floor.

1. R&D: Industrial Design & Prototyping (40%)

CAD Design: Create 3D models (surface and solid) for new molds within the Trickno range across multiple formats.

Prototyping: Realize master molds and inserts via 3D printing and perform trials on our in-house thermoforming machine.

Polycarbonate Expertise: Develop final mold specifications, focusing on draft angles, surface finish, and release properties in real production conditions.

2. Industrialization & Shop Floor Optimization (30%)

Production Immersion: Work directly on the Trickno production line to identify bottlenecks and optimize process flow.

Flow Wrap Machine: Analyze performance, develop specific mechanical settings, and optimize the wrapping process (speed, sealing integrity, material waste reduction).

Continuous Improvement: Propose technical solutions to reduce material loss and improve operator ergonomics.

3. International Sourcing & Supply Chain (20%)

Supplier Management: Act as the technical point of contact for our mold manufacturers in Vietnam and Turkey.

Sourcing: Research and onboard new international suppliers (molds and packaging consumables) to increase our industrial agility.

4. Quality, Compliance & Eco-design (10%)

Food Contact Safety: Audit materials and verify compliance according to EU (EC 1935/2004) and US (FDA) standards.

Sustainability: Analyze recyclability and end-of-life cycles in line with the EU PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and French AGEC law.

Candidate Profile:

Master's degree student (or final year Bachelor's) in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or Materials Science.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360). Strong interest in automation and mechanics (Flow Wrap). Knowledge of thermoforming processes.

Hands-on Mindset: You enjoy being on the production line, testing your designs, and interacting with operators.

Languages: Fluent English (C1 level) is mandatory.

Soft Skills: Solution-oriented mindset, high level of autonomy, and ability to communicate with diverse profiles (from creative designers to technical operators).

Life in Vietnam: Independence & Immersion

The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City. This internship requires high personal maturity:

Logistics: You will be responsible for your round-trip flights as well as finding and managing your own accommodation.

Terms:

Location: Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Duration: 4 to 6 months.

Working hours: Monday - Friday (9:00AM - 6:00PM)

Supervisor: Senior Product Manager.

The Highlight: A 360 mission, from the first 3D sketch to the finished product coming off the Flow Wrap machine.
