Job Description

A. OVERALL

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising the quality management system at the factory to ensure that finished products meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role also plays a key part in process improvement, error prevention, quality cost optimization, and compliance with legal regulations.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Management Systems

  • Develop, implement, and maintain management systems for the factory.
  • Lead internal audit activities.
  • Plan and monitor ISO system activities and internal audit programs.
  • Coordinate with state authorities regarding system management requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs related to the management systems.

2. Quality Assurance

  • Monitoring activities and controls of QA team.
  • Work with Government agencies regarding product quality compliance.
  • Monitor processes and propose halts in production if technical or compliance issues are found.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to address customer-related quality issues.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction surveys and propose improvements.

3. Testing & Analysis management

  • Manage the operations of the quality testing laboratory.
  • Oversee usage and maintenance of equipment, tools, and chemicals.
  • Manage sugar content and impurity testing for sugarcane.
  • Coordinate with supervisory units regarding sugar content analysis.
  • Liaise with customers and sugarcane drivers.

4. Reporting

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Submit reports to: Factory Director, QMS Manager of the ProC

C. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Quality Management, or related fields.
  • Good English communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar position or 5 years as Deputy Head of Department
  • Solid understanding of production processes, machinery, and technical elements.
  • Deep understanding of quality systems such as ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP.
  • Quality data analysis and process performance evaluation skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Effective communication, training, and clear presentation skills.
  • Team management and coordination skills in a high-pressure environment.
