  • Establish and implement SOPs and quality standards across raw materials, production processes, and finishing operations.
  • Lead and integrate QA and QC teams under a unified and consistent quality framework.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage training programs to ensure operator competency and compliance.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including regulatory compliance records and traceability systems.
  • Supervise quality checks for incoming materials, monitor in-process controls, and conduct final product inspections.
  • Review and update inspection protocols; ensure adherence to established defect criteria.
  • Approve final products for dispatch and issue rework or hold instructions when quality standards are not met.
  • Monitor and evaluate defect patterns; escalate recurring issues to appropriate departments.
  • Drive root cause analysis for both internal and external quality failures.
  • Manage CAPA processes, ensuring timely closure and measurable results.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Finishing, and R&D teams to eliminate recurring and systemic quality issues.
  • Generate reports on key quality metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY), internal rejection rates, and customer complaint rates.
  • Track performance indicators including training completion, audit results, and CAPA cycle times.
  • Lead regular quality performance reviews with the General Manager and factory leadership.
  • Partner with R&D and Product Development to implement design-for-manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
  • Train team leaders and supervisors on accountability and ownership of quality processes.

Fequirements

  • University degree in Engineering or Industrial Management
  • Minimum of 8 years in similar position in multinational (MNC) or foreign-invested (FDI) furniture manufacturing companies
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong expertise in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), root cause analysis, and data handling
  • Deep understanding of ISO standards
  • Familiar with:
  • Control Plans
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Problem Solving Methodologies
  • Process Quality Control
  • Complaint Handling and Customer Claims Management
