To support our continued growth in Vietnam, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector with experience in hardline goods and/or furniture to join our team in Hanoi.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections in factories, warehouses, or other production locations in accordance with client requirements, internal procedures, and applicable international safety standards.
- Prepare all relevant inspection documents, tools, and equipment before each inspection, ensuring they are complete and in proper working condition.
- Review and understand product specifications, applicable standards, inspection procedures, and client requirements before each inspection or survey.
- Inspect product quality, workmanship, dimensions, materials, labeling, packaging, and overall compliance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, product specifications, and measurement requirements.
- Use measuring tools and relevant inspection equipment to verify product conformity.
- Identify and report any quality issues, non-conformities, or abnormalities observed at the inspection site.
- Keep the office promptly informed of any significant issue or deviation identified during an inspection.
- Follow established inspection procedures and work instructions at all times.
- Carry out site inspections under the supervision and guidance of the Supervisor and/or Office, where required.
- Prepare and submit clear, accurate, and detailed inspection reports following each assignment.
Key Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, or product inspection.
- Experience with hardline goods, furniture, homeware, DIY products, or similar consumer products.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, product specifications, and quality requirements.
- Comfortable using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Good understanding of product quality, safety, and compliance requirements applicable to hardline goods.
- Good command of Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to prepare professional inspection reports and communicate with international clients.
- High level of integrity, reliability, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently, manage inspection assignments professionally, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Willingness and availability to travel within Vietnam for short-term inspection assignments.
