The Quality Inspector Temp for JR286 will be responsible for ensuring product quality at supplier facilities. Key duties include conducting pre-shipment inspections to mitigate quality risks, driving quality improvements at factories, supervising production quality, and reporting on defects and overall quality status.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and focus on daily quality inspection based Open Order List and booked inspection schedule at responds supplier side.
- Complete quality inspection at factory side independently.
- Conduct production line process audit after quality inspection if time is allowed.
- Issue professional quality inspection reports to factory in time, share it with related departments within JR286.
- Support Quality Engineer to conduct Quality System Audit when needed.
- Can make the appropriate decision on found defects and pending case together with Quality Engineer, Quality Manager and related departments.
- Work with factory on quality improvement for found defects, check production line together with supplier, work out the root cause and provide suggestions on corrective actions.
- Statistical data analysis for quality inspection data by monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Study new products spec/Tech Pack, packaging requirements and quality standards for initial inspection and tracking the producing status of bulk products.
- Arrange inspection schedule based on open orders and shipping plan, consider the priority.
- Report Quality Engineer, Quality Manager/Director and Product Developer for any potential quality risk or product issue which found in quality inspection.
- Review and sign confirmation samples with Product Developer when Quality Engineer is absent.
- Lead and work closely with factory after each inspection to review found defects.
- Have related quality training courses for supplier quality inspectors and workers when necessary.

What to Bring:
- College or university degree.
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection across diverse product categories, including fabrics, sewing, sport accessories, leather, plastics, metal, backpacks, luggage, and inflated products.
- Proven experience conducting on-site inspections at multiple factory locations.
- Well-versed in key quality standards and methodologies (AQL, ISO9001, SPC).
- Professional skill set in data analysis and systematic troubleshooting of quality issues.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willing and able to travel frequently, including trips across Vietnam (North & South) and Cambodia for quality audits.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese. Any level of Chinese proficiency is a plus.
